  • RN Sir Appointed Assistant Campus Chief of SPA College

    Dhangadhi: Associate Professor Raghunath Joshi, popularly known as RN Sir, has been appointed as the Assistant Campus Chief of Sudur Paschimanchal Academy (SPA) College. Joshi, who has been teaching at SPA College for over 15 years, was appointed to the position by the Campus Management Committee on Friday.

    Upon assuming the role, Joshi expressed his commitment to enhancing the educational and administrative standards of the institution.

    In a ceremony held in the college auditorium, Professor Manoj Bhatt, representing the professors and staff, congratulated the newly appointed Assistant Campus Chief. Bhatt expressed confidence that Joshi’s capable leadership would further strengthen the college’s academic achievements.

    Former Campus Chief Buddharam Chaudhary also congratulated Joshi during the event. He praised Joshi as a beloved teacher among faculty, staff, and students and expressed belief that Joshi’s experience and skills would unite everyone and lead to exemplary contributions. Chaudhary further pledged his continued support to the new Assistant Campus Chief.

    Speaking at the event, Campus Chief Yogaraj Upadhyay shared his happiness in working with a colleague who values actions over words. He expressed optimism that Joshi’s appointment would significantly contribute to the college’s overall development and academic progress.

    Similarly, the college’s Managing Director, Subash B. Shahi, highlighted Joshi’s popularity and his remarkable ability to successfully handle various responsibilities in the past. Shahi remarked that the decision to appoint Joshi as Assistant Campus Chief was based on his exemplary track record, which he believed would further elevate the institution’s reputation and educational standards.

    Who is Raghunath Joshi, the New Assistant Campus Chief of SPA College?

    Joshi completed his secondary education at Aishwarya Vidya Niketan and pursued his Intermediate Commerce (I.Com) at Kailali Multiple Campus. He later earned his Bachelor’s in Business Studies (BBS) from Shanker Dev Campus, Kathmandu, and completed his Master’s in Business Studies (MBS) from the TU Central Campus.

    Starting his career as an MR (Medical Representative), Joshi has served as both part-time and full-time faculty at institutions such as KMC, Galaxy, Lotus, and Gwasi colleges.

    Since 2069 BS, Joshi has been a full-time faculty member and the BBS Coordinator at SPA College. Known for his expertise in accounts and taxation, he has been awarded the SPA Best Teacher Award for three consecutive years.

    Joshi’s appointment as Assistant Campus Chief is seen as recognition of his dedication, achievements, and ability to inspire students and colleagues alike.

    KGIST Organizes Community Clean-Up with the Slogan ‘Our Desire: A Clean City’

    Dhangadhi: KGIST Hotel Management Institute in Dhangadhi organized a community clean-up program. On Wednesday, students and teachers from the institute cleaned up their neighborhood under the slogan “Our Desire: A Clean City.”

    The KGIST team, including teachers and students, took to the streets to clean the areas from SP.A. Marg to Baiyahbehedi Chowk, Breadbox 2, Rubus Hotel Road, and the Bus Park.

    Representing the students, Aarti Bishwakarma and Sushil Bogati expressed their happiness at being able to support the sub-metropolitan city’s campaign. They mentioned that participating in the program motivated them to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness among their families and younger siblings.

    Ravindra Bahadur Chand, a hotel management Faculty at KGIST, stated that the program was organized to support the ongoing “Our Dhangadhi, Clean Dhangadhi” campaign run by the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City. He emphasized that the event aimed to instill the belief in students that any good deed, including cleanliness, should start from oneself.

    KGIST organized the clean-up program to mark the upcoming festivals of Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath. The institute has previously been involved in various social activities, including cleanliness drives.

    The meeting of ‘Enhancement of stability in education’ project was completed in Jai Prithvi

    Bajhang: The municipal level project advisory committee review meeting has been completed under the project of increasing stability in education implemented in the village of Bajhang and Jaiprithvi municipality. The meeting was concluded in Jai Prithvi Municipality of the district under the chairmanship of City Chief Chetraj Bajal.

    Uma Bhatt, education development officer working in Bajhang district of Reed Nepal, informed that the program is being implemented in 11 schools under the project of improving stability in education under Jai Prithvi Municipality and four secondary schools in Diyanot Rural Municipality.

    Similarly, the Education Development Officer Bhatt said that this project has supported the children’s education by emphasizing quality education while presenting the work sheet of achievements including the review of all the activities done by this project so far.

    Likewise, the ‘Enhancement of Stability in Education’ project run by Reed Nepal with the financial support of the Australian Government (DFAT) has helped the reading of secondary school children in the region and to make it more effective, said Bhim Bogti, the executive head of Reed Nepal.

    Likewise, Chetraj Bajal, the municipal head of the municipality, promised that the project has provided good support in education and the municipality will always be ready to implement it more effectively.

    In addition to this, an 11-member advisory committee was formed under the coordination of Deputy Mayor Ratan Bahadur Singh for the municipal level project advisory committee in Jai Prithvi municipality.

    The mayor, deputy mayor, chief administrative officer, head of education, principal of all seven secondary schools, CEO of Read Nepal and education development officers working in Bajhang district were present in the review meeting.
