KATHMANDU: Dharmendra Bastola, the western command chief of the outlawed Biplav rebel group, has been arrested.
A police source said that he was arrested from the border area of Lalitpur and Makwanpur.
Bastola is also a member of the faction’s secretariat and head of the Foreign Department.
Likewise, Bibek Kumal considered close to the faction’s spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma “Prakanda” has also been arrested along with Bastola.
